To mark the prestigious exhibition ‘De Chirico Magische Wirklichkeit’ (‘De Chirico. Magical Reality‘) being hosted by the Hamburg Kunsthalle from 22 January to 25 April 2021, the Italian Cultural Institute in Hamburg is organizing an online concert by the pianist Antonio Ballista, titled ‘Metaphysical Music: from the beginning of the twentieth century to the Twenties’. The concert, organized in collaboration with the Italian National Music Committee (CIDIM), will be presenting an exceptional programme designed especially for the occasion, with compositions linked to the metaphysical matters that were close to Giorgio De Chirico’s heart; it will be held on 11 April 2021 at 11.00 am on the YouTube channel of the Italian Cultural Institute in Hamburg.
