The Leopolis Jazz Fest, one of the major jazz festivals in Ukraine, will welcome this year Motel Kaiju, an Italian quartet featuring Niccolò Faraci (electric bass, voice synthesizer), Lorenzo Blardone (synths), Alberto Mancini (piano, moog) and Andrea Bruzzone (drums).

Known for the sound of digital synthesizers, analog moog and timbres of electric piano, this Italian jazz band successfully captures and reinterprets the legacy of acid and progressive jazz, resulting in a skilful blend somewhere between funky and impromptu experimentation.

Their performance at the Leopolis Jazz Fest is in the programme for 26 June 2021, organised in collaboration with Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute of Kiev.
