In the framework of Italian Design Day 2021, the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Chicago celebrate, in collaboration with Piaggio Group, Moto Guzzi’s 100th birthday, a company leader in the motorcycling sector.
On 9 July 2021, Jeffrey Schnapp (Harvard University), Greg Lynn (Moto Guzzi factory), Miguel Galluzzi (Director of the Piaggio Advanced Design Center) and Marco D’Acunzo (Marketing Director of the Piaggio Americas Group) present ‘Moto Guzzi 100 Years‘ , curated by Jeffrey Schnapp, where a writer, an actor, three journalists, a DJ, a designer, an astronaut and a cultural historian recount their passion for the Mandello Eagle.
Their tales are interspersed with the exploration of the past, the present, and the future of the company through images of vehicles, places and above all stories of individuals, famous and ordinary who have made the history of the brand.
The conversation will be available for free in streaming on the Facebook page of the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago.
