The Italian Cultural Institute of São Paulo presents the concert ‘Nos acordes do cinema italiano’, in collaboration with the ‘Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica’ conducted by João Maurício Galindo.
The Institute is kicking off its 2022 programme with a concert to pay tribute to the history of Italian cinema.
The orchestra will pay tribute to three of the greatest composers of Italian cinema (Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota and Nicola Piovani) by performing a selection of soundtracks from unforgettable films such as ‘Cinema Paradiso’, ‘Amarcord’ and ‘La Vita è Bella’.
The performance will be accompanied by a screening of excerpts from the films set to the music.
The exhibition is also an opportunity to announce the resumption of events and language courses in person at the Institute in the new Italian teaching spaces.
