The Italian Cultural Institutes of Stuttgart, Toronto and Vienna present the book ‘Feeling Italian’ by Maura Di Mauro and Bettina Gehrke.

Through photographic language, the publication explores what it means to feel Italian today, but also the meanings of multicultural identity and global citizenship. Over eighty images selected by an international jury, together with personal stories and narratives in Italian and English reveal the complexity of Italian identity in the contemporary global context. The book offers an inventive stimulus for intercultural dialogue and a useful tool for intercultural education and training, reflecting on the increasingly dynamic, fluid and plural concept of identity today and the importance of developing global citizenship.

The book will be presented on 14 May, 2021 at the Italian Cultural Institute of Stuttgart, in June 2021 at the Italian Cultural Institute of Toronto and in October 2021 at the Italian Cultural Institute of Vienna.
