The first stage of the fourth edition of the Sanremo Giovani World Tour, which this year takes the finalists of Sanremo Giovani 2021 around Europe, has successfully ended in Madrid.
The artists Yuman, Martina Beltrami, Littamè and Samia performed on the evening of 30th May at the Teatro Fernando de Rojas – Círculo de Bellas Artes, and were welcomed by a young and enthusiastic audience. Among others, Ambassador Riccardo Guariglia and Councillor Filippo La Rosa joined in with their applause.
It is a source of pride to welcome this extraordinary project to Madrid, the result of the splendid collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Rai, to support Italian creativity and propagate a brand like Sanremo, known around world.
comments the Italian Ambassador Riccardo Guariglia, declaring that he is convinced of the importance of the results that can be achieved in relations between countries thanks to our cultural diplomacy.
The tour, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and promoted in collaboration with RAI, aims to promote young Italian pop talent through the network of diplomatic-consular offices and Italian Cultural Institutes.
We are really pleased, the Madrid concert was an extraordinary success: in front of a full theatre, our young artists swept the Spanish audience off their feet with their songs and intense interpretation
stated Marialuisa Pappalardo, director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid, who then added:
Most certainly, Sanremo Giovani World Tour is a project that works, through which we tell of a contemporary Italy where the tradition of the song is renewed, continuing to excite with new energies. A winning key that, after this exciting début, will lead our young talents to fly high also in the next stages of the tour.
