The Centro Internazionale di Studi Primo Levi di Torino is organizing a summer school dedicated to the writer, to be held online from 23 to 26 July 2021 .
It will consist of three meetings, grouped under the general title ‘Primo Levi: Transnational Perspectives’, in which scholars, artists and intellectuals from various backgrounds will discuss the life and work of the Turin author in the face of the challenges of the contemporary world.
On 23 July, Simona Forti and Marco Belpoliti will speak about ‘Vanadio e il grigio dottor Müller’ (Vanadium and the Grey Dr. Müller), on 24 July Ian Thompson will run a round table in English with several Italian authors on the relationship between Primo Levi’s work and the graphic novel, while on 26 July the series ends with a conversation between Domenico Scarpa and Martina Mengoni on ‘Che cosa resta da dire e da fare’ (What remains to be said and done).
