In connection with Italian Design Day 2020 and on the occasion of the feast of Saint Domnius and the Day of the City of Split, the City Museum launches the exhibition ‘Rosso – il colore della passione’, in the wonderful Diocletian Gallery. The exhibition features cult objects by renowned Italian designers, considered classics all over the world, created exclusively in the colour red, a symbol of emotive design. Among these, the Piaggio Vespa, the Bialetti coffee maker, the ‘Up5’ armchair, the Martinelli ‘Cobra’ table lamp and the ‘Sacco’ armchair.
The exhibition, presented last November at the Italian Cultural Institute of Zagreb, is organized by the Italian Trade Agency in Zagreb (ICE Agency), in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Croatia and the Consulate General of Italy in Rijeka, with the support of Zagreb Design Week and the Split Vespa Club.
