Italian cinema meets Croatian cinema on the occasion of the 68th edition of the Pula Film Festival, which will be held from 17 to 25 July.
This year the festival includes an industry meeting, ‘Spotlight Italy’, dedicated to the presentation of the Italian Audiovisual System, to be held on 22 July. The event, created with the aim of fostering new synergies between the Italian and Croatian film industries, is being organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), the Pula Film Festival with the support and collaboration of Embassy of Italy in Croatia, the Consulate General of Italy in Rijeka and the Italian Cultural Institute of Zagreb.
Over the 10 days of the festival, films by Italian authors will be screened, such as the highly acclaimed ‘Thou Shalt Not Hate’ by Mauro Mancini, in competition at the 77th International Critics’ Week in Venice, and the film ‘The Dawn (Zora)’, an Italian-Croatian co-production directed by Dalibor Matani.
