The Italian Cultural Institute of Helsinki, in collaboration with the University of Turku, the University of Jyväskylä and the publisher Faros, will join the public in an exploration of Dante’s ‘De vulgari eloquentia’, guided by Jaana Vaahtera and Outi Merisalo. The occasion marks the publication of the famous treatise in Finnish: a previously unpublished translation, edited by Päivi Mehtonen and Jaana Vaahtera, and a major leap forward for Nordic Dante studies.

The meeting, in Italian, will take place online via the Zoom platform on Tuesday 18 May 2021.

For more information and to register for the event, visit the website of the Italian Cultural Institute of Helsinki.
