‘The design of Beauty: the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai’ is the title of the webinar organized by the Embassy of Italy to the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with the American University in Dubai (AUD), the Consulate General of Italy in Dubai and the Commissariat General for Italy Expo 2020.
The seminar, available on the Youtube Channel of the Embassy, retraces the birth of the artistic project of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, inspired by an ideal of Beauty which has its roots in Greek and Roman philosophy and which transcends the mere aesthetic dimension to include ‘il Buono, il Vero e il Giusto’ (‘the True, the Good and the Beautiful’).
The webinar was created on the occasion of the Italian Design Day 2021, and is led by Prof. Davide Rampello, Curator and Artistic Director of the Pavilion and designated as ‘Ambassador of Italian Design’.
