On 25 April, the Italian Cultural Institute of New York presents the book ‘Italian Masterpieces’ by Alain Elkann.

Together with the director of the Institute, Fabio Finotti, the author traces the pages of the book, which contains an overview of the many masterpieces of Italian art that FIAC, Foundation for Italian Art and Culture, has helped to place on exhibition in the United States over the past 18 years.

The book’s magnificent illustrations accompany commentary by notable art world figures such as Colin Bailey, Director Morgan Library & Museum, New York, Salvatore Settis, Professor of the Scuola Normale, Pisa, and Keith Christiansen, Curator Emeritus of European Paintings the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
