After crossing Ukraine and Turkey, ‘La Via della Seta. Arte e artisti contemporanei dall’Italia‘ (The Silk Road: Contemporary Art and Artists from Italy) makes its entrance in Georgia. From October 28 to November 22, the exhibition will be on display at the Ioseb Grishashvili Tbilisi Historical Museum, located in the city’s fascinating historic center.
Curated by Angela Tecce, the exhibition offers a rich representation of the quality, complexity and diversity of trends in Italian contemporary art from the late 1960s to the present day.
From Tbilisi, the journey will continue towards the East to conclude in China in 2022, the Italy-China Year of Culture and Tourism.
Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and theIstituto Garuzzo per le Arti Visive, the exhibition is travelling the world thanks to the Embassies and Italian Cultural Institutes.
