The Italian Cultural Institute of Moscow presents the 13th edition of the ‘From Venice to Moscow’ festival, organized in collaboration with the Venice Biennale and the Italian Embassy in Moscow with the support of Banca Intesa.
The event is taking place from 18 to 23 February at the Oktjabr cinema in Moscow and from 21 to 27 February at the Pobeda cinema in Novosibirsk, as part of the KARO.Art project. The festival features some of the most significant Italian films presented last autumn at the 78th Venice International Film Festival.
The festival will open with ‘The King of Laughter’, directed by Mario Martone, a lively biography of the Neapolitan comedian Eduardo Scarpetta that reflects on the interplay between theatre and life, with Toni Servillo in the title role.
