Traditional Italian arias resound in Dublin at Wexford Festival Opera

In the context of a collaboration with Wexford Festival Opera, the Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin is delighted to present on 22nd April the second of a series of three exceptional concerts that will take place between February and June 2022, starring artist from the most prestigious Opera festival in Ireland.

Hosted in the lovely Hugh Lane Gallery’s Sculpture Hall, soprano Ava Dodd and tenor Conor Prendiville will present a rich programme of Italian language arias from selected operas by Donizetti (Don Pasquale and L’Elisir d’Amore), Mozart (Le Nozze di Figaro), Verdi (La Traviata and Rigoletto) and Puccini (La Boheme, La Rondine and Gianni Schicchi).

The pianist is Richard McGrath.
