On the occasion of the Italian Design Day 2021, the Italian Cultural Institute of Osaka is organizing a series of events featuring the winners of the Compasso d’Oro Award for Lifetime Achievement, the oldest and most authoritative world design award.
From 9 October to 5 December, at the Otani Memorial Art Museum in Nishinomiya, it will be possible to visit ‘Design Timeless Future‘, the exhibition on the career and products of Toshiyuki Kita, a Japanese product designer.
On November 10, it will be possible to participate in the ‘Buonvivere & Design‘ videoconference. The stars of the event will be Toshiyuki Kita and Gilda Bojardi, director of the magazine ‘Interni’ and creator of ‘FuoriSalone’, who will talk about Italian design as a tool to improve the quality of life in a post-Covid world.
