The Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Bucharest present on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, a streaming meeting with the Italian writer Nadia Terranova and the Romanian writer Claudiu Florian.
The meeting will be hosted on the Facebook page of the Institute and will be moderated by Prof. Roberto Merlo (University of Turin). The discussion will concern the books ‘Addio fantasmi’ by Terranova, published in Romania by Polirom publishing house in 2020 (translated by Cerasela Barbone), and 0 ‘L’età dei giochi. Un’infanzia in Transilvania’ by Florian, which also appeared in Italia in 2019 by Voland publishing house (translated by Mauro Barindi). The two volumes have in common the sensitivity with which Terranova and Florian narrate about their childhoods, respectively spent in Sicily and Transylvania.
