With the reopening of cinemas, the DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum in Frankfurt am Main, with the support of the General Consulate of Italy in Frankfurt and the Italian Cultural Institute in Cologne, will present the 26th edition of ‘Verso Sud – Festival del cinema italiano‘ (Looking South – Italian Film Festival).
From 26 June to 12 July, the festival will offer to the German audience a selection of contemporary Italian films and a tribute review to the director Lina Wertmüller.
The festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Istituto Luce-Cinecittà, with the participation of ENIT Frankfurt as a premium partner.
