One year after the death of Ennio Morricone, the great Italian composer known and loved by audiences around the world for his wonderful soundtracks, the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture of Beijing, in collaboration with the Forbidden City Concert Hall, have organized a commemorative concert with the participation of some among the most influential Chinese contemporary musicians.
The concert, conceived by the well-known radio host and DJ Youdai, will reinterpret, in the diversified styles of the Chinese artists, 20 pieces from some of the most famous soundtracks by Ennio Morricone.
A tribute to the beauty and unicity of the music of the great Maestro, to his universal language that unites different cultures and peoples and an inspiring invitation to the creative dialogue between artists and musical genres.
