On the occasion of the 6th Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, an annual event with which the Farnesina celebrates Italian food and wine traditions around the world, the Italian Cultural Institute of Montréal presents a series of events dedicated to the theme of this edition: ‘Tradizione e prospettive della cucina italiana: consapevolezza e valorizzazione della sostenibilità alimentare’ (Tradition and perspectives on Italian cuisine: awareness and enhancement of food sustainability).

  • Saturday, 20 November 2021 – Screening of the film ‘Maschile singolare’ (Masculine Singular), by Alessandro Guida and Matteo Pilati
  • Tuesday, 23 November 2021 – Lecture by Québecoise writer Elisabeth Cardin and Dr. Giuseppe Maiolo, member of the Montreal Academy of Italian Cuisine
  • Thursday 25 November – Screening of the documentary film ‘Cene Galeotte’, by Fabrizio Laurenti and Claudio Cutrì
