On the occasion of the VI Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the Italian Embassy in Warsaw has organized several events.
From November 22 to 24, in cooperation with the Polish Delegation of ‘Federazione Italiana Cuochi‘ and the Honorary Consulates in Szczecin, Wroclaw and Lublin, the Embassy organizes a series of seminars held by an Italian chef for young students of gastronomy. Seasonal ingredients and Mediterranean diet are at the core of the events, aimed at promoting the knowledge of quality, variety and authenticity of the Italian nutrition.
On November 30 there will be an online masterclass for Polish students of gastronomy. A famous Italian chef demonstrates how to decline the subject of the yearly edition of the Week of the Italian Cuisine, especially the sustainability, through a ‘gourmet’ approach. The event was organized in collaboration with the Association ‘Ambassadors of Taste’.
Finally, from November 22 to December 10, it will be possible to visit ‘Trame Creative’, a design exhibition coordinated by ‘Open Design Italia’ and organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Warsaw. The exhibitions aims to represent the typical shapes of varieties of pasta from three different Italian regions, re-interpreted by designers through an innovative intertwining of creativity and gastronomy.
The event is enriched by two on-line seminars dedicated to the ‘history of pasta’ and to ‘Cities and places of taste’.
