Based on the audiobook ‘From the Dark Wood to Paradise‘, professors Ana Maria Gebăilă and Aurora Firța-Marin from the Italian Department of the University of Bucharest, will deliver on Zoom two online lessons about Dante for the students of the two bilingual high schools in Bucharest. On October 19, Ana Maria Gebăilă will deliver to the students of the ‘Dante Alighieri’ High School the lecture ‘From the dark wood to the love that moves the sun and other stars. Some observations on the lexical and semantical richness and on the translation of the language in the Divine Comedy‘. On October 20, Aurora Firța-Marin will deliver to the students of the ‘Ion Neculce’ College the lecture ‘Francesca da Rimini. Reading and image‘.
On October 21, the interview ‘Smaranda Bratu Elian in dialogue with Horia Roman Patapievici about Dante‘ will be published on the Youtube channel and on the Facebook page of the Institute. Professor Smaranda Bratu Elian coordinates, for the publisher Humanitas, the series Biblioteca Italiana, that includes books of classical and contemporary Italian writers, in Italian and Romanian. Horia Roman Patapievici has written the book about Dante ‘Ochii Beatricei sau cum arată cu adevărat lumea lui Dante‘.
On October 22, on the Facebook page of the Institute there will be broadcast in live streaming a meeting with prof. Fabio Melelli, who teaches History of the Italian Cinema at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia and is also the author of the documentary ‘Dante and the Comedy in the History of Cinema‘. The documentary will be broadcast with Romanian subtitles.
On October 23, the recital ‘Dante’s Voyage‘ by the Romanian actor Emil Boroghină will be broadcast on the Youtube channel and on the Facebook page of the Institute . The performance was staged in order to celebrate the seventh centenary of Dante’s death and is a coproduction of the Theatres Nottara, Marin Sorescu from Craiova and Poesis.
On October 24, a dialogue on Dante between prof. Alberto Casadei (University of Pisa) and prof. Marco Grimaldi (University of Roma “La Sapienza”) will be broadcast the Institute’s Youtube channel and Facebook page.
