Organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing and the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing, the group exhibition of new artworks ‘We Love Art: Vision and Creativity Made in Italy’ continues its international tour in the city of Chonqing in China, where visitors will be able to admire the 8 works on display in the halls of the Changjiang Museum of Contemporary Art, Chongqing, the largest contemporary art museum in Chongqing and the south west region of China.

The opening ceremony will be held on December 9 and will be attended by the Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Guido Bilancini, representatives of the Tourism and Culture Commission of the Municipality of Chongqing, and representatives of institutions, companies and universities in the field of culture and media.

During the event, a video message by the two curators of the exhibition will be screened, Ludovico Pratesi and Marco Bassan, who have selected 8 artists under 35, creators of original pieces of art.

Visitors will be able to admire the works of artists Benni Bosetto, Giulia Cenci, Lulù Nuti, Alice Ronchi,Tomaso De Luca, Amedeo Polazzo, Giulio Saverio Rossi and Namsal Siedlecki in an exhibition that will include sculptures, paintings and photographs. The works will be accompanied by a video describing the inspirations behind the pieces, which were generated by the artists’ encounters with the world of the factory and the meaning of the relationship between art and business as each artist experiences it, in a unique and individual way.

The exhibition is included in the calendar of events ‘Road to 2022’ in preparation for the Italy-China Year of Tourism and Culture 2022.

An initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in partnership with the Fondazione Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), the exhibition is travelling the world thanks to Consulates, Embassies and Italian Cultural Institutes.
