The Italian Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires is taking part in the XVIII edition of the Encuentro de Cine Europeo entitled ‘Di fronte alla realtà’ (Facing reality), which will be held virtually from 1 to 30 November.
The programme features works by directors who invite us to reflect on the current context and the need for personal and social transformation, faced with the trials of today and the future. There will be in-person screenings in Buenos Aires and in several Argentine provinces, specialist training sessions, debates open to the general public and others dedicated to film industry professionals.
On this occasion, the Italian Cultural Institute presents Maria Sole Tognazzi’s film ‘Me, Myself and Her’ (2015), available online for the entire month of November.
The Encuentro de Cine Europeo is organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Argentina with the participation of the Embassies and Cultural Institutes of the member countries, 13 in all: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Slovenia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland and Portugal.
