The Zlín Film Festival is one of the longest-running and most prestigious film festivals dedicated to cinema for children and adolescents and this year marks its 61st edition. As in previous years, several Italian works are featured on the programme.
The first part of the festival, which has just finished, was held entirely online and included the feature films of the last edition. Among these is “The Bears’ Famous Invasion of Sicily” by Lorenzo Mattotti. The animated film is a liberal interpretation of the serial novel of the same name by the writer Dino Buzzati.
The second part of the Festival will be held from September 9 to 15. The screenings will take place in the auditorium, following the festival’s traditional format.
