A theatrical show dedicated to Sciascia, by the students of Italian language in Algiers.

The Italian Lecturer in Algeri, Annamaria Poeta, directed a show with the students of the Departments of Italian in the universities of Algiers and Blida. The show was presented in the Embassy theatre on 7 October 2021, to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Leonardo Sciascia. A video is available on the Youtube channel of the Italian Institute of Culture in Algiers.

The idea was developed during a lesson. Students were reading a dialogue of the book ‘Il giorno della civetta‘, and were so enthusiast to decide to bring the text to a new, theatrical life.
