São Paulo in Brazil: comics and animakers for financial education at the Eugenio Montale School
Students have developed a range of multimedia tools, intended for young people, to teach them about the benefits and risks associated with payment cards.
Students from the Eugenio Montale School in São Paulo, Brazil, adopted the learning by doing principle to design and create an infographic, a comic and an animaker (animated video), supported by their teachers and tutors from the Bank of Italy.
The main objectives of the school-work alternation project Pathway for Transferable Skills and Orientation (PCTO), based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and the Bank of Italy, are to introduce students to the world of work, develop skills and work in a team using information and communication technologies.
