The winners of the 2022 edition of theBookTuberPrize, promoted by the Centre for Books and Reading of the Italian Ministry of Culture, with the cooperation of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, have been announced.

The prize is inspired by the figures of “booktubers” and “video-bloggers” active in the field of publishing. The aim is not only to foster the exchange and circulation of books among adolescents, but also to stimulate careful and conscious reading of a literary work, encouraging the practice of critical thinking. The young participants were divided into two categories (15-19 years old and 20-25 years old) and asked to create a video review by freely choosing a book or a poetry collection written by contemporary Italian authors.

Students of Italian abroad excelled in the 15-19 years old category: Bahie Riva (Argentina) ranked first with her review of Tommaso Percivale’s “Più veloce del vento”; students Nicolò Falco, Maria Manco and Lavinia Valerii (France) ranked second with their review of “Oliva Denaro” by Viola Ardone;  Adriano Marini (France) ranked third with his review of “La paranza dei bambini” by Roberto Saviano.

All information on the Prize and on the winners of the fourth edition is available on the following website Cepell.
