On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the death of Antonio Canova, the Farnesina is promoting the circulation abroad of Mimmo Jodice’s photographic exhibition on the work of the Venetian sculptor.
The exhibition has been personally curated by Maestro Jodice, one of the leading figures in contemporary Italian photography.
With 51 black and white images, taken in the early 1990s, Jodice retraces the main stages of Canova’s production, in a dialogue between artistic languages of great visual impact.
After a successful debut in San Marino, the exhibition arrives in Hong Kong in May, as the second stage of a journey that, over the course of two years, will touch more than ten countries in different continents.
