The Alessandro Volta Gymnasium was founded with a clear international approach, aimed at promoting contacts with Italy and Italian culture, enhancing the internationally recognized aspects of excellence of Italian heritage. Learning the Italian language is an integral part of the educational process: it is approached as an experience part of everyday life, promoting from early childhood the assimilation of different sounds, understanding their meaning and enabling the natural acquisition of the language. Lessons in English language and Anglo-Saxon culture complete the linguistic offering of this international institute, recognized by the Colombian and the Italian governments.
