“Collegio Antonio Raimondi” Italian School – Lima

The “Antonio Raimondi” School dates back to 1872, when, following the unification of Italy, a group of Italian intellectuals gathered in the Italian Society of Education founded a school whose goal was to preserve the language and values of the Italian colony established in Peru. The founding members included Antonio Raimondi, scientist and traveller, researcher, and encyclopaedic naturalist, considered the symbol of the Italian community’s roots in Peru. Today, the “Colegio Antonio Raimondi” is an established bicultural school where the education fosters in its students feelings of identity and assimilation of Italian and Peruvian cultural values.
The school offers all levels of education and, at the end of upper secondary school, students are awarded the Italian Diploma di Maturità. This official public qualification with legal value is valid for access to Italian and European Union universities and also facilitates enrolment in universities in other countries, such as the United States and Canada.

Order and rank: Nursery School – Primary School – Lower Secondary School – Upper Secondary School (Liceo Scientifico/specializing in Sciences, Liceo Linguistico/specializing in Foreign Languages, Liceo Artistico/specializing in Arts – Architecture and Environment specialisation)
