“Cristoforo Colombo” Italian School – Buenos Aires

The “Cristoforo Colombo” Italian School is one of the most important educational institutions in the city and in the country. Founded towards the end of the Second World War due to the need to integrate many young Italians into Argentine society, over the years, the school has seen a significant increase in the number of students. The school has thus become a firmly established part of Argentine society, opening its doors to pupils of non-Italian origins, from families interested in the bicultural education offered by the institution. In March 2004, the “Cristoforo Colombo” School was recognized as a state-authorized private school and it can award qualifications with legal value recognized in Italy and in all European Union countries.
