The Enrico Fermi School is a state-authorized private bilingual lower secondary school. The school was founded in 1977 on the initiative of some parents, in response to the need for schooling for the children of Italian workers. In a short time, it reached 150 students and was recognized as a state-authorized private school in 1979. Today, the “Fermi” School works to promote and maintain the Italian language and culture among children of Italian origin or educated in Italian and German.
