The Italian Cultural Institute of Brussels is a organization of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its permanent aim is to promote and improve awareness of the Italian language and culture in Belgium through the organization of cultural initiatives to promote the circulation of ideas, arts and sciences.
The Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels offers the following services to the local public:
Courses in Italian language and culture held by qualified native Italian teachers
two annual exam sessions to obtain the certificate of Italian as a foreign language
an Italian library open to students and members of the Institute for the consultation and loan of books, CDs, DVDs, Italian magazines, journals and newspapers
information and documentation on Italian culture
