The Italian Cultural Institute of Tirana, official body of the Italian State, aims to promote and improve awareness of the Italian language and culture in Albania through the organization of cultural events to encourage the circulation of ideas, arts and sciences.
The Italian Cultural Institute of Tirana offers the following services to the Albanian public:
Courses in Italian language and culture held by qualified Albanian teachers;
Two annual exam sessions for the Certificate of Italian Language (CELI) levels 3 – 5;
An Italian library open to students for the consultation and loan of Italian books, DVDs and magazines;
Information and documentation on Italian culture.
All cultural events (concerts, art exhibitions, films, etc.) are organized by the Institute in collaboration with:
The University of the Arts of Tirana;
The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Tirana;
The National Gallery of Arts in Tirana;
The National Theatre of Tirana;
The National Library;
The National Museum of History.
