The Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) of Washington is an office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation dedicated to the promotion of Italian culture in the United States through the organization of events and the provision of cultural services.
Under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the advisory committee and its staff, the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington fulfils this commitment by cultivating cultural exchanges between Italy and the United States in different areas of interest ranging from arts to humanities and science.
The mission of the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington is to work continuously to promote the understanding and benefits of the various expressions of Italian culture.
