The Italian Embassy School in Beijing is the first Italian school in East Asia. The educational approach adopted is based on the “Reggio Emilia Approach”: an Italian educational philosophy that is based on the image of a child with strong potential for development and with individual rights, who learns and grows in connection with others. Culturally, the school embraces both the Chinese and Italian traditions, promoting bilingual teaching. The School opened in 2015 and in the same year it was recognized as a state-authorized private school.
