Archaeological and epigraphic research in the municipium of Numluli (Governorate of Béja – Tunisia)
Piazza Universita’ 21, 07100, Sassari (SS), Italy
The Numluli municipium is one of the best-preserved Roman cities in northern Tunisia. Its monuments, which have never been the subject of extensive archaeological excavations, still retain important and clearly legible elevations in their nature, and are now an ideal venue for the promotion of Italian-Tunisian cultural cooperation, implemented through the organisation of a Summer School as a field placement for Tunisian and Italian archaeology students.
