Archaeology, Community Archaeology and Memory Reconstruction around the church complex of the Transfiguration of Christ, Sotira. Archaeological and environmental investigation of the settlement and church buildings through scientific and “public engagement” actions. Reconstruction of the complex history of the site from the Byzantine to the contemporary age through a “participatory” excavation of the 5th-century basilica, later transformed into a richly painted church in the 13th century.
