‘Rock painting in Cappadocia: a project of knowledge, conservation and valorization’.

The project has been active in Turkey since 1996. Since 2006, under the guidance of Prof. Maria Andaloro, in Cappadocia, the project has been underway of knowledge and valorization of the pictorial heritage of the Nevsehir region and the project to restore the Tokali church in the Open Air Museum of Goreme. Extensive research of the territory has resulted in an online database that supports the understanding of the rocky habitat and the pictorial findings in relation to the rural landscape.
