The “Pietro Della Valle” Italian School in Tehran, founded in 1960, is a comprehensive state-authorized private school (Kindergarten, Primary, Middle and Secondary School) attended by Italian and international students thanks to the introduction of a bilingual programme, with subjects taught in both Italian and English. At the same time, the School organizes Italian language courses for Iranian adults divided into 4 levels: A1, A2, B1, B2. At the end of level B2, students take the exam prepared by the CILS Centre at the Siena University of Foreigners. Most students on the courses express a desire to continue their academic careers at Italian universities.
