The ‘Progetto Archeologico Italiano a Kültepe (PAIK)’ by the University of Milan, operational since 2019 and led by Prof. Luca Peyronel, is a project of archaeological research on the Kultepe site, conducted in collaboration with the Archaeological Project of the University of Ankara led by Prof. Fikri Kulakoglu. PAIK conducts archaeological investigations (excavations and reconnaissance), studies on archaeological materials and geo-archaeological research in relation to the Kultepe site.
