‘The Aswan Kom Ombo archaeological project’.

The project in the area between Aswan and Kom Ombo, operational since 2005, aims to investigate the interaction between Egyptians and Nubians in their border region through territorial research operations, documenting archaeological sites and rock art using innovative technologies, including rescue excavations and the study of archaeological material. The project also foresees the training of local staff.
