On 7 October 2021, the Italian composer and mathematician Carmine Emanuele Cella joins the ‘Sixtrum‘ percussion ensemble to perform his triptych: Inside-out (2016 – 2017), Kore (2019) and Création (2021). The performance will take place at the Multimedia Room of the Schulich School of Music at McGill University of Montreal.
Organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal, the event is taking place within the framework of “Résonance croisée – résidences et créations musicales Québec/Europe’ (Cross-resonance – Quebec/Europe musical residencies and creations), a programme that aims to put different approaches to music into perspective by allowing artists and composers from Québec and Europe to meet and work together.
‘Résonance croisée’ is a co-production by Le Vivier and the network of European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) present in Montreal.
