The Genoa International Music Youth Festival and the International Association of United Cultures, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Kiev and the Italian Cultural Institute of Kiev, promote Italian culture with a concert dedicated to the great masters of opera.
The concert will be held on October 9 at the Odessa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet and will see performances by Marta Mari (soprano), Giada Venturini (mezzo-soprano), and Alessandro Fantoni (tenor). The artists will be accompanied by the Odessa Opera Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Lorenzo Tazzieri, Principal Conductor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Opera Foundation.
The programme includes pieces from the masterpieces of Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini, including the operas ‘Il trovatore’, ‘Nabucco’, ‘La traviata’, ‘Manon Lescaut’, ‘La Bohème’ and ‘Madama Butterfly’.
