On 23 November 2021, the Italian Cultural Institute of Paris will host the exhibition ‘Figures for Gianni Rodari’, the second part of the series ‘Italian Excellence’, an original project by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Bologna Children’s Book Fair/Bologna Fiere and the Emilia-Romagna Region.
Conceived in 2020 for the centenary of Gianni Rodari’s birth, the exhibition offers a panoramic overview of the Italian illustrations that have accompanied the author’s texts over the last fifty years. The exhibition will feature works by famous designers and illustrators (including Emanuele Luzzati and Bruno Munari) and internationally renowned contemporary artists.
The exhibition will be open until 7 January 2022.
