Nicoletta Mandolini, scholar of comics and gender studies, interviews the Italian cartoonist Josephine Yole Signorelli (Fumettibrutti).
The interview is the opportunity to present ‘Anestesia’ (Feltrinelli Comics, 2020), the final volume in the autobiographical trilogy written by Fumettibrutti.
The event, which is taking place in the context of the 2021 Summer School of the Associazione Internazionale di Professori di Italiano (AIPI) which this year is dedicated to ‘Research on Comics’, is sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute of Brussels, by the Dante Alighieri Society and by the ‘Comics’ research group at the Ghent University.
