At this University, one of the oldest universities in Germany, there is an Italian language assistantship (lettorato) funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
The language assistant works in the Institute of Roman Studies. His assignment ends in 2025.
In addition to the various language and culture courses offered to the students on BA or MA degree courses, there are also Italian teaching training courses that prepare students for the exams for Italian teaching qualifications, as well as specialization Master’s and PhD courses.
